Exemestane (Aromasin) is a steroidal aromatase inhibitor, and its blood half-life is about 24 hours, meaning the amount circulating drops by roughly half each day. Because it clears at that pace and its breakdown products are inactive, it is taken once daily and does not accumulate much over time, so blood levels during daily dosing stay close to those seen after a single dose.
